Rexburg is a city in Madison County, Idaho, in the United States. As of the 2000 census, the city population was 17,257. The city is the county seat of Madison County.

Rexburg is the principal city of the Rexburg, ID Micropolitan Statistical Area, which includes Fremont and Madison Counties.

Rexburg is close to the St. Anthony Sand Dunes and the West Entrance of Yellowstone National Park.

The serving of hard liquors has been prohibited since 1947, and the predominately LDS culture has left the city with almost no nightclubs and bars, and no coffee shops (although convenience stores and some restaurants now sell beer, wine, and coffee).

Rexburg also holds an International Folk Dance Festival every year where dancers are invited from all parts of the world to perform in Rexburg.
